I've been meaning to update my drivers since there have been updates since I bought my new laptop. When i went to search my drivers manually it took me to one update which said my laptop didn't meet the specs etc. I used the Driver Update Utility and it took me to this one http://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&ProductFamily=Graphics&ProductLine=Processor+graphics&ProductProduct=2nd+Generation+Intel%C2%AE+Core%E2%84%A2+Processors+with+Intel%C2%AE+HD+Graphics+3000/2000 Download Center. I got the same error. I went through the Screen Resolution>Advanced>Properties to do the automatic driver updates and it said my drivers were up to date but im not sure of that. Any solutions or ideas? This is my graphics card:

I appears your laptop may have OEM customized drivers installed that will block the installation of the Intel HD Graphics generic drivers. Many OEM's customize the Intel HD Graphics drivers for specific features of their systems. I would strongly recommend you check the web site of your system manufacturer for driver updates verified for your system.
