Hello Haisom,
Thank you for providing a detailed breakdown of the issue and the reproduction steps. Based on the information so far, it seems this might be a driver-related rendering issue, especially since it persists across two different games. Your testing with a clean driver installation and DDU is a great troubleshooting step.
To further narrow down the root cause, please answer the following questions:
- Does the issue occur exclusively with Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen and Black Mesa, or have you encountered similar issue in other games?
- Does the freeze happen at specific points or is it random?
- Have you tried lowering or changing the in-game graphics settings?
- Did the issue begin after a specific driver update?
- Have you checked the Windows Event Viewer for any errors?
Please generate an SSU report to help me further analyze important details on your system. To generate the SSU report, please refer to the article: How to get the Intel® System Support Utility Logs on Windows*. Please send us the generated SSU.txt file.
Additionally, have you tried to download the latest driver available for Iris Xe? The latest driver would be 32.0.101.6449_101.6255 WHQL Certified. If not, please perform a Clean Reinstallation with the new driver.
I look forward to your response!
Best Regards,
Robbie R.

I'm so sorry for the late reply. Honestly I forgot about this post.
Seems like it was an issue with the Anisotropic Texture driver setting and leaving it as "Application handled" or something like that fixed the issue. This occurred to me after I posted this so I updated the post to reflect a different issue on another game. We better open a new topic or can we continue on this one?
