The DirectX Diagnostic tool says
Name: Intel® G33/G31 Express Chipset Family
Manufacturer: Intel Corporation
Chip Type: Intel® GMA 3100
DAC Type: Internal
I can't find anything with this identification
the diagnostic and search tools do not seem to work, one did not have an option for 64 bit Windows 7 (32 bit was specified)
the diagnostic tool did not work, let it run for a really long time and gave up
Problem, ThePrintShop is having problems (has a problem with my printer too), Encore, their current support, say it is a driver problem

DirectX Diagnostic say, no problem
I'm following up on it to check for driver updates
I can't find anything that matches what is shown
what am I missing here?

For a list of all drivers, try this:
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&ProductFamily=Graphics&ProductLine=Desktop+graphics+controllers&ProductProduct=Intel%c2%ae+G33+Express+Chipset&ProdId=2843&LineId=1100&FamilyId=39 http://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&ProductFamily=Graphics&ProductLine=Desktop+graphics+controllers&ProductProduct=Intel%c2%ae+G33+Express+Chipset&ProdId=2843&LineId=1100&FamilyId=39
For automaticaly detecting needed drivers, try this:

you can update your driver by going to device manager>then update the drivers under display adapter(or any other according to your problem)
>search automatically for updated software.....

I did that, but I was perplexed by not finding anything on the intel page with that chipset
said it was current, Theprintshop forum insisting my problem is with drivers not being updated... eventually Theprintshop (Encore) person became irrational, making me think the problem is with theprintshop...
still curious though, why I cannot find the drivers for this chipset on the intel site?
