Recently i updated my driver to the newest iris xe graphics one and now its crashing. I suspect maybe it was adaptive tesselation. Not only that, it keeps stuttering with around 10-20 fps and then after a day of playing with it it stopped. pls help.

Hello Unplese,

Thank you for reaching out. I understand you're experiencing crashes and stuttering after updating your Iris Xe graphics driver.

To better understand the situation and find a solution, could you please provide the following details:

  • Are you experiencing the crashes and stuttering in a specific game or application, or does it occur system-wide?
  • Have you tried rolling back to the previous driver version to see if the issue persists?
  • Have you already attempted adjusting or disabling adaptive tessellation in the settings?

Please generate an SSU report to help me further analyze important details on your system. To generate the SSU report, please refer to the article: How to get the Intel® System Support Utility Logs on Windows*. Please send us the generated SSU.txt file.

We look forward to your response!
