Getting error "Display Driver stopped responding and has recovered".

I recently installed Windows 10 on my laptop but after the installation I have encountered a problem with my graphics driver. When my laptop screen goes off after certain time of inactivity and I turn it back on, it hangs for a while and returns to the screen with error message as follows:

Display driver stopped responding and has recovered

Display driver Intel Graphics Accelerator

Drivers for Windows 7(R) stopped

responding and has successfully

recovered.

I tried updating Intel HD graphics driver from device manager but it shows the driver to be up-to-date.

OS: Windows 10 Pro

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3 CPU M 350 @ 2.27GHz

Laptop: Samsung NP-R540-JA01AE

Please help!

Thank you for the reply!

So, what should I do now, install windows version older than Win 10 or is there any fix available to my problem?

I would go back to Windows 7, or get a current laptop.

Hi SarojKhadka,

Al Hill is correct, your processor is not supported on Windows 10, there are not drivers available to rut it, you can use it with your system but you may have instability.
