After installing the latest generic graphics driver (Intel® Graphics Driver 32.0.101.6913) for my laptop (Specifically an acer aspire A315-59 which is running a Intel Core i5-1235U, using the Intel iRIS xe graphics) I encountered strange glitches where the screen randomly changed, I heard the disconnect sound that I usually hear when updating my graphics driver, and the glitch went away after I moved my mouse or did anything in general.
I have only encountered this while on Youtube on Opera GX so far so I am not sure if this is a problem with the drivers or with Opera GX specifically and I unfortunately do not have any pictures or videos capturing the error.
I hope that this issue can be resolved timeously

Hello RedCybertron,
Thank you for posting in Intel community Forum.
For me to better understand and diagnose the issue further, let me ask you to provide detailed responses to the following questions. This information will help me isolate the problem and determine the most appropriate course of action moving forward.
- How often do you get this issue while watching Youtube?
- Have you tried if you would have this issue on other browser like Chrome, Firefox or Edge?
- Did you check if your browser has an update also?
- For me to check the hardware and the installed drivers, please help generate the SSU logs of your system. Please refer to the link below on how to generate the logs:
How to get the Intel® System Support Utility Logs on Windows*
If you have questions, please let us know. Thank you.
Best regards,

Good day Michael.
To answer your questions
- It happened twice yesterday within about 10 minutes of each other however it didn't occur again after that
- I have not attempted to use Youtube on other browsers
- After checking now, there is an update for Opera GX so that may be the cause
- I have attached the SSU logs to this response. Unfortunately I'm not sure if they will be useful because of how long after the glitch they were created.
Hopefully this will help identify the issue, though I now suspect that it possible doesn't have to do with the driver I installed.
Thank you for your assistance

Hello RedCybertron,
Thank you for the update.
Can you try to install the update from your browser and then reboot your system and check if you will have the same issue?
You may also try it in a different browser just to isolate if the issue is only in your browser. I need to document this data for further analysis.
If you have questions, please let us know. Thank you.
Best regards,
Michael L.

I am sending another follow up and hoping that you are also checking this issue with Opera since the issue is happening on their browser.
Since we have not heard back from you, I need to close this inquiry.
If you need further assistance, please post a new question as this thread will no longer be monitored.
Thank you and have a great day.
