Today I've updated the intel graphics driver on my Scar 18 laptop(i9-14900hx/NVIDIA RTX4090 laptop).
The update replaced my Intel Command Center with the Intel Graphics Software but the Intel Graphics Software is using 1-2% CPU almost constantly.
Is there any way I can uninstall that and go back to the Intel Command Center?

Can I just simply uninstall the Intel Graphics Software and download the Intel Command Center from Microsoft Store?

Hello Vantezzle,
Thank you for posting on Intel Community Forum.
We’ve launched a new app called Intel Graphics Software, which replaces the old Intel Graphics Command Center. Just so you know, the Intel Graphics Command Center will no longer receive updates. However, if you still prefer using it, you can continue to download it from the Microsoft Store.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Intel Command Center has been replaced by Intel Graphics Command Center (IGCC) and, more recently, Intel Graphics Command Software. Once the new package is installed through the latest driver, rolling back isn’t officially supported — Intel is phasing out the older Command Center.
That said, you do have options:
Rollback driver & software
Uninstall the current Intel Graphics driver and Intel Graphics Command Software.
Reinstall an earlier driver package from your laptop manufacturer’s support page (ASUS for the Scar 18) — these often still bundle the Intel Command Center.
Block auto-updates (optional)
Disable auto-driver updates in Windows Update or Intel Driver & Support Assistant if you want to stay on the older version.
Monitor CPU usage
1–2% CPU usage is generally within normal background process range. But if it’s consistently higher, check for background tasks in Task Manager → Details → igcc.exe or related processes, and update to the latest stable driver from Intel’s site (sometimes ASUS’ packaged drivers lag behind).
📌 Note: Intel strongly recommends sticking with the newer software, since it’s the one receiving active updates, bug fixes, and feature support.

Rolling back drivers wasn't an option because a few games, including Hitman 3 after recent updates simply don't start without the new drivers, even if i only use the dedicated NVIDIA graphics card, seems to be a common recent issue.
But I uninstalled just the Intel graphics Software, reinstall the Intel Graphics Command Center from the Microsoft Store and everything seems to work perfectly fine for a few days now?
