Graphics Card Driver Problem

I'm trying to get a Game to work on my laptop but when I go to launch it it says " FATAL ERROR: Renderer # 0 could not be initialized! Make sure your graphic card driver is up to date. Check log file for more information." My driver is up to date too. I'm getting really frustrated over this. Can anyone help me out with this or do i need to buy a new graphics card?
