I have a computer running Windows XP. It's an embedded computer from Advantech. Everything worked fine on it and after a power outage the graphics driver wont work correctly. When the computer boots up, the windows splash screen will show momentarily, and then the screen will just go black. I'm able to get into the OS if I F8 and boot in safe mode and VGA only mode. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the driver as per the instructions below but that did not change anything. https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005513/graphics.html The one thing I do notice is the "Intel (R) GMA Driver for... shortcut is not in Control panel like the other computers in that area, and as shown in the article above, Can anyone help with this issue?

You have a very old system. But what is the model of your processor? Just to confirm, are you still getting a display? Much better if you can share the ssu log of your computer so we can review it. I'm not around the system at the moment, but the processor is either an Intel Core 2 Duo L7500, 1.6 GHz/Core 2 Duo U7500, 1.06 GHz Or a Celeron M 550, 2.0 GHz
I only get a display signal if I boot into safe mode, or VGA only mode. If it boots normally, It will give me the windows splash screen for a couple seconds, and then have no display signal at all. The only way I can get a display signal, and boot normally is if I uninstall the display driver.
