Graphics Driver for Playing FIFA 17

Hello

I tried to install and play FIFA 17 demo on my laptop - but I keep getting the message to update my intel drivers to xx.xx.15.4251 or later. But I only find versions with lower number

My PC configuration is :

Windows 10 Home 64 Bit

Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3230 CPU @ 2.60GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.6Ghz

4096MB RAM

This satisfies the basic requirements for the game but the latest driver I found using the Intel driver update utility was "win64_153343.4425"

Can you please tell me where can I find the driver 15.4251 or later for my machine?

Thanks

Varun

I get the same update driver message. I Have an Intel 4400 graphics card and Windows says the driver is up to date, Got the same message for the Battlefield 1 demo but it still worked fine. The Fifa 17 demo was very laggy on my computer and sometimes crashed. But after changing game settings and having the fps to unlimited it now works reasonably fine. Ony thing is that players have no heads in the cut scenes. Not sure if this is to do with my graphics card/driver or a bug in the demo??

Hello Everyone,

I would like to let you know that we just released a new BETA driver that should fix the issue with the players missing heads.

This BETA driver can be downloaded from here (4th, 5th and 6th Generation graphics only):

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26347/Intel-Beta-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-10-and-Windows-7-8-1-15-40- Download Intel® Beta Graphics Driver for Windows® 10 and Windows 7*/8.1* [15.40]

Please give it a round of test and let us know your feedback.

Thanks for all the effort put in to solve this issue. Unfortunately my processor - i3-4005U - isn't listed for that Beta driver.

Hi Ronald, thoroughly appreciating the effort going into getting this resolved.

Unfortunately my processor is a Intel Core i5 processor 4278U and is not covered... Do you think there is any other work around? Or a possibility of a fix on the way for mine and thetiger's processors?

Hi Danny246,

The Intel® Core™ i5-4278U Processor is a 4th Generation (formerly known as Haswell) featuring Intel® Iris™ Graphics 5100. This BETA driver should work for it.

Some Original Computer Manufacturers (OEM) may add restrictions so you can only install drivers provided by them. One work around is to do a manual driver installation. Instructions are located here: http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005629.html How to Manually Install an Intel® Graphics Driver in Windows® 10 &...

Please take note that this is a BETA driver, and as such, it is not digitally signed. Windows* will remark this during the driver installation, but you can simply choose to continue with it.

I hope this information helps you.

Hi Ronald, will the manual install work for my i3-4005u processor? That processor isn't listed on that webpage.

Hi thetiger,

The Intel® Core™ i3-4005U Processor is also a 4th Generation processor, so the driver should work for it too.

Give it a try and let us know if it works for you.

Hi Mr. Ronald,

If you please help me.

I have download Driver Version: 15.40.12.64.4326 for my lab hp 350 g1 - win 8.1 64 - Intel i5-4200U @ 1.60GHz 2.30GHz

But when i try to install, it gives me the error message (this computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software), and i tried to install it manually several times with several ways, but it did not work.

Please, is it the suitable driver version for me or not.

Fifa 2017 works very good with me except the headless problem with zoom in camera.

any suggestions please.

Thanks and i appreciate your help.

Hello hamedo,

From what I can see, you have Windows 8.1* and your processor uses Intel® HD Graphics 4400 (formerly known as Haswell). This is a 4th Generation graphics controller.

For the 4th Generation graphics controller this BETA driver is only compatible with Windows 10* 64-bit operating systems.

Details on BETA driver OS compatibility can be found here:

I still can't get past the skills games before a game, it still crashes. Guess I'm still getting an XBox One for Christmas.

Hello thetiger:

We are sorry to hear that the game is still not working.

The beta driver 4539 is the one that was design and intended as a fix for the problems with FIFA 17.

Another option to try will be to uninstall the current driver manually:

http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005598.html http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005598.html

And install the beta driver manually as well:

http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005629.html http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005629.html

That will be pretty much the option left to try.

Regards

Alberto

Thank you for all your best efforts for a fix. But frankly this has all been far too much effort than it's been worth, I'll just get an xbox one - far less hassle than all this, and it can play 3D Blu Rays too.

Something amazing has just happened! I thought, maybe I should try that new driver agan before I fork out for an Xbox, and low and behold for some reason it now actually works! No missing heads! A bit laggy, but some adjustments to settings has sorted that out, great work guys!
