HD 530 and can't 4K60P with DCH driver

I installed Intel DCH drivers and then got a 4K UHD monitor. I can't raise the resolution to 4K60P. I am stuck at 4K30P. I can't roll back to original Asus driver cause I have DCH installed.

The system Asus Z170-AR, I7-6700K, DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 2.1 cable, High Speed DP to HDMI dongle,

Samsung TU7000 43", Driver 27.20.100.8935.

Any suggestions?

Try this:

  1. Download the non-DCH driver you want to get to.
  2. Disconnect the PC from the Internet. Keep it disconnected until told to reconnect.
  3. Uninstall the DCH driver.
  4. Reboot.
  5. Install the non-DCH driver.
  6. Reboot
  7. Reconnect Internet.
  8. Test.

[Edit:] I forgot to mention that I do not think that backing off to the older non-DCH drivers is going to accomplish what you think - but feel free to try anyway.

Hope this helps,

Getting warmer. I did find 2560x1400 60p. That is a start.

One thing I did notice is that my 2009 40" Samsung LCD TV has a 3 times faster GPU benchmark  then the 2020 Samsung LED. I only  bought the new TV to reduce power consumption.

I will have to live with 1440 60p because I have posed this to Samsung, Microsoft, Intel and Asus and no one can explain the incompatibility between the two.
