I installed Intel DCH drivers and then got a 4K UHD monitor. I can't raise the resolution to 4K60P. I am stuck at 4K30P. I can't roll back to original Asus driver cause I have DCH installed.
The system Asus Z170-AR, I7-6700K, DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 2.1 cable, High Speed DP to HDMI dongle,
Samsung TU7000 43", Driver 27.20.100.8935.
Any suggestions?

Try this:
- Download the non-DCH driver you want to get to.
- Disconnect the PC from the Internet. Keep it disconnected until told to reconnect.
- Uninstall the DCH driver.
- Reboot.
- Install the non-DCH driver.
- Reboot
- Reconnect Internet.
- Test.
[Edit:] I forgot to mention that I do not think that backing off to the older non-DCH drivers is going to accomplish what you think - but feel free to try anyway.
Hope this helps,
...S

Getting warmer. I did find 2560x1400 60p. That is a start.

One thing I did notice is that my 2009 40" Samsung LCD TV has a 3 times faster GPU benchmark then the 2020 Samsung LED. I only bought the new TV to reduce power consumption.
I will have to live with 1440 60p because I have posed this to Samsung, Microsoft, Intel and Asus and no one can explain the incompatibility between the two.
