In your case you might need to ask this inquiry to the Intel developer
  zone forum: https://software.intel.com/en-us/support

I have now updated the driver but it still sets the configuration by default to "maintain aspect ratio", this I need to be "scale to fit" by default.
Can you provide the registry key needed to set this option on our clients.

I understand that you have been facing scaling problems with our Intel
  graphics drivers.

We faced a lot of problems related with scaling, we even created a
communities forum to escalate the problem: https://communities.in
  tel.com/thread/44539

The main scaling problem was solved with the latest Intel HD Graphics
  driver for Haswell/Broadwell based products.

Hi Kenneth,

I moved your post to this drivers forum.  These guys are great and should be able to help you find your registry key.

Best,

Seth

Thanks Seth.

I haven't heard from them yet?

Is there really no registry key for this setting?

Hi Kenneth,

I have just just returned from a business trip, thus the delay in a response. This forum is for game developers optimizing games on Intel graphics and is part the Intel Game Developer Program.

As for your issue I checked and we are aware of and investigating it already. This is a driver/graphics properties issue, I do not have an ETA on a fix as we are still investigating.  I will follow the debug, hopefully it will be a quick fix. At his point I am afraid it is not as simple as changing a registry key. That may change of course, but lets see what our driver development team finds out. As soon as there is an update I will let you know.
