How to enable Deep Color and x.v. Color (xvYCC) HDMI output on Intel HD graphics (Bay Trail)?

Hi,

I have a Intel Pentium N3530 in my laptop (Acer Aspire E5-511) which includes intagrated Intel HD graphics (Bay Trail).

I would like to enable Deep Color (10 bits, 12 bits or 14 bits per color channel) and also x.v. Color (xvYCC) HDMI output to my HDTV which supports these technologies (Sony HX850).

But I can't find these options in the Intel HD graphics control panel, although the specifications of the Intel HD graphics clearly advertise support for Deep Color and x.v. Color.

The graphics card currently outputs to the TV via the HDMI port at a resolution of 1920x1080p/60Hz and with a 32 bits color depth (8 bits per color channel (24 bits True Color) with an 8 bits alpha buffer). I already tested the capability of the TV to process and output Deep Color with x.v. Color signals via my PS3. I have Windows 10 on my PC.

So, how can I enable Deep Color and x.v. Color HDMI output?

Hello MoonRabbit79,

The Graphics controller can handle this features, as you say, but this may appear depending the options provided by the compute rmanufacturer. Sometimes, the options appear when using low resolutions so for testing purposes, try using another resolution.
