Hi, i have bought a TV Sony KLV-40V510A it is a full hd one. And i have a acer laptop (Aspire 4920-6269) (Win XP SP3) and i can't display the image of computer to TV. I tried all screen resolution and didn't work. I install the last driver of Graphics (Mobile Intel(R) GM965 Express Chipset) (6.14.10.5029) and it continues unsucefull. I tried with another laptops (Dell and HP) and work perfectly. One thing that happen is the input button where i select the input image of tv, it permit select only inputs that have cable conected and when i conect VGA cable (Acer -> Sony), tv didn't permit i select PC. It happen only with my acer laptop. Have one thing that i can try to do here and it work perfectly?

Hi!

I'm having the same problem, looks like Intel doesn't support full HD resolution for external TV's.

I hope Intel comes up with a new driver soon! In 2011 it is ridiculous that one cannot select full HD on you big screen full HD LED TV....

Intel, when?!?

I just bought a new DH67CL motherboard and the Intel i5 2500 (Sandy Bridge). I installed Windows 7 64-bit, and ran the CD to install the drivers. The video driver installed and when it restarted there was no signal to my TV (1080p), I am using an HDMI connection. The connection works when there is no driver.

I am certain there is a problem with the Intel drivers

I have corrected this issue by connecting the HDMI cable to a different port.

when attaching via HDMI the video driver for some reason chooses 59 Hertz for the refresh rate, need to go into advanced and change it to 60 Hertz

In order to do this hook up second monitor so you can see the screen and make the settings change
