Hi Passegua,
Thank you for posting in our Community and providing detailed information, including the error code and your observation that the system reports the driver is already installed. This is very helpful. Please be informed that I can only support you in English. I kindly request you to convert you system language to English language to I can properly understand the following error and the prompt on the image you shared. The error code 1000 typically means that the driver installer has detected the same or a newer version already present on the system, which prevents reinstallation to avoid conflicts or redundancy. This is a safeguard mechanism, not necessarily an indication of a failed or corrupted install. However, in order to better assist you, I’d appreciate it if you could answer the following questions:
- Which tool alerted you to this update? Was it Intel® Driver & Support Assistant (IDSA), Windows Update, or a third-party utility?
- Have you made any recent changes to your system configuration? Such as BIOS updates, OS reinstallation, or major Windows updates.
- Have you previously installed any beta drivers or updates for the NPU? In some cases, beta or OEM-customized drivers may block overwrites from standard installers.
- I'd like to delve deeper and verify specifics like the graphics models, precise driver versions, and any system errors. Utilizing the Intel SSU tool will enable me to collect detailed information about your system setup, which could aid in identifying the underlying cause of this issue.
Additionally, if you have done any other tests, please let me know the details so we don't cover the same ground twice.
Have a nice day!
Best regards,
Von M.

Thank you for your response.
I’d like to request a few additional details from you to help me continue investigating this issue. Based on what you’ve described, it appears to be a known issue that other customers have also encountered, and I want to ensure we approach this with the most accurate and effective solution.
- Web Browser

(Supported browsers include Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Microsoft Edge. Internet Explorer and Brave are not supported.) - Proxy Settings
Are you currently using any proxy settings on your network that could affect connectivity? - Security Software
What antivirus or security software is currently installed on your system? Sometimes security applications can interfere with installations or network access. - Browser Extensions/Plug-ins
Do you have any browser extensions or plug-ins installed (such as script blockers, ad blockers, or privacy tools) that could be affecting site functionality? - What is your IDSA version?
If IDSA Installation Fails:
Please zip and attach all files located in the following folder:

Hello Passegua,
Thank you for the update. Awesome to hear that the Intel® Driver & Support Assistant (IDSA) is now doing its thing and showing everything’s up to date, no more alerts. Love that. Really appreciate you confirming that the issue’s been resolved. If anything comes up down the line or you’ve got more questions, don’t hesitate to hit us up; we’ve got your back.
In the meantime, I will close this inquiry now. If you need further assistance, please submit a new question as this thread will no longer be monitored.
Best regards,
