My wife's laptop (Lenovo T61P) got Windows 7 yesterday´, everything works fine except the vga driver, every second time it boots it freezes entirely at the desktop, cant do anything but shut it down? .before it freezes the monitor flickers and in the lower right corner there is a info saying the driver restarted.
Driver ver is 8.15.10.1930
After a reboot it works fine for a while or until you reboot it.

I had a similar problem. Disabling power management in the driver solved it.
Open "Graphics Properties" from the driver tray icon. Go to "Display Settings" and then click the Power Settings button. Drag the slider to Disable Power Savings, and then click OK a couple of times to close it.
