Hello Dimo_B,
Thank you for posting in Intel community Forum.
For me to better understand and diagnose the issue further, let me ask you to provide detailed responses to the following questions. This information will help me isolate the problem and determine the most appropriate course of action moving forward.
- Let me check, what is the model of the Graphics controller used before installing the Arc A310?
- What are the troubleshooting steps that you tried before contacting us?
- May I also know how did you update the graphics driver?
- For me to review the hardware and the installed driver, please help generate the SSU logs of your system. Kindly refer to the link below for the steps:
How to get the Intel® System Support Utility Logs on Windows*
If you have questions, please let us know. Thank you.
Best regards,

Thank you for your reply. However I was able to fix the issue over the weekend.
My configuration is Intel Core i5-10400, with 24 GB (16+8) DDR4 RAM 2666Mhz and this processor has Intel UHD 640 integrated graphics. I also run Windows 11 Home on NVME drive.
The problem appears to be with the BIOS behavior on the motherboard, as it doesn't allow to disable intagrated graphics. So what worked:
1. I disabled integrated graphics in Windows Device Manager. Uninstalling didn't help, as after the restart Windows automatically installed drivers for UHD 630.
2. I switched off the multidisplay option in BIOS and selected Intel Arc A310 as the primary video adapter (it was also a challenge, as BIOS reports them both as Intel graphics 🤣🤦♂️, so had to do that empirically based on what option disabled the display when hdmi was connected to Arc A310).
3. Then in Windows I checked if UHD 630 is still disabled. Then closed everything and did a full clean reinstalling of the drivers for Arc A310, which removed all the previous drivers and installed a new copy of the latest Intel drivers.
4. Restarted my computer. And so far everything worked just fine. Was able to run all tests from 3D Mark and some other games. Achieved average performance benchmark results as per 3D Mark, no glitches or other visual artifacts.
Will report if anything goes different later.
However it would really help if your drivers could manage the video adapters the same way as nVidia drivers allow you to select which GPU to use. As I could not even watch youtube videos. They were either blinking, crashing or going black for a couple of seconds. For an average user might be an unsolvable issue.
