After updating to the latest Intel GPU driver Version 32.0.101.8724, I am facing a critical issue with Delta Force. The game no longer launches and crashes immediately on startup.
Before this update, the game was running without any issues.
What I’ve tried so far:
Clean installation of the latest driver
Clearing shader cache
It seems the issue is specifically related to the latest driver update, as other games (like GTA V Online) are running smoothly.
System Info:
GPU: Intel Arc A770
Driver Version: 32.0.101.8724
OS: Windows 11
I would appreciate if anyone else experiencing this issue could confirm, and if Intel could look into this.
Thank you.

Hello Anaf007,
Thank you for posting your query on the Intel Community Forum!
Thank you for reaching out and providing such a detailed breakdown of the issue. We sincerely appreciate the troubleshooting steps you’ve already taken, such as the clean driver installation and clearing the shader cache.
We would like to look into this further to identify why Delta Force is crashing on driver 32.0.101.8724. Since there was a major game update recently, we want to see if the issue is a driver regression or linked to the game package itself.
To help us replicate and investigate this behaviour, could you please provide the following details:
- Game Distributor: Are you running the game via Steam, Epic Games Store, or a standalone launcher?
- Game Crash Logs: Please share any crash dumps or error logs generated by the game or Windows Event Viewer (Event ID 1000) at the time of the crash.
- Intel SSU: Please download and run the Intel System Support Utility (SSU). When saving the scan, please ensure the "Network" box is unchecked.
- Passing Scenario: * Could you confirm the exact previous driver version where the game was working correctly? (e.g., 32.0.101.8629 or .8626).
- Also, did the game work on the current driver before the most recent Delta Force game update, or did the crash only start after updating the driver?
- In-Game Settings: What were your typical in-game graphics settings?
Once we have this information, we can better investigate. In the meantime, rolling back to the previous driver version is the recommended workaround to get you back into the game.
We look forward to your response.
Best regards,
VivekS

Hey @Anaf007 !
It definitely looks like you’ve hit a "driver regression." Since you’ve already tried the heavy lifting (clean installs and clearing the shader cache), the issue likely lives within the code of version 32.0.101.8724 itself.
While we wait for the Intel engineers to patch this up, here are a few friendly suggestions to get you back into the game:
The "Time Machine" Fix: Since the game was running beautifully before the update, your best bet is a quick rollback. Many Arc users are finding that reverting to version 32.0.101.8629 fixes the startup crash instantly.
Double-Check Re-Size BAR: Sometimes these updates can be a bit finicky with BIOS settings. It’s worth a quick peek in your BIOS to make sure Resizable BAR is still enabled, as Intel Arc cards really need it to handle Delta Force properly.
Reset Configs: You might try navigating to your game’s configuration folder (usually in AppData or Documents) and temporarily moving the settings file to your desktop. This forces the game to launch with fresh, default settings which might bypass the crash.
Hang in there! You’ve provided great info in your post, and that’s exactly what the dev teams need to see to get a hotfix out. Hopefully, you'll be back on the battlefield in no time.
Your friendly neighbourhood user
