Intel Arc VGA-k vulkan support

Hi,

I would like to know whether the Vulkan support issue in the Intel ARC B580 graphics driver will be addressed within a reasonable timeframe.

Hello,

I am experiencing an issue when trying to run Quake on Steam (both the original and the remastered version). I have attempted to launch the game multiple times, and the result is always the same.

My Intel GVA driver is up to date: 32.0.101.8974.

I am including the crash log below.

IMPORTANT!: When submitting a crashlog, DO NOT modify or remove any part of this file.
Quake_x64_steam caused an Access Violation Exception (0xc0000005)
in module igvk64.dll at 0033:00007ff8dccc9655

Game version: 1.0.5582

Based on the information shared, we understand that the issue occurs when launching Quake (original and remastered versions on Steam) and that the application crashes with an Access Violation Exception in igvk64.dll while using graphics driver 32.0.101.8974.

  • Download the SSU tool: How to get the Intel® System Support Utility Logs on Windows*
  • When generating the report, please uncheck the "Networking" option before scanning.
  • Save the report and attach it to your response.
  • Please confirm the model of your graphics card

 

  • Have you previously reported this issue to Intel or opened a support case regarding the same concern? If yes, please share the case number.
  • Have you tested:
  1. A clean installation of the graphics driver?
  2. Previous graphics driver versions to determine whether the issue is specific to driver version 32.0.101.8974?
  • If available, please share:
  1. Screenshots or a video demonstrating the issue.
  2. Windows Event Viewer logs and crash dumps related to the game crash.
