Intel Arc graphics driver broke my HDMI connection

The most recent Intel Arc graphics driver broke my HDMI connection to the motherboard which connects the integrated graphics from the CPU. The HDMI connection now only works when the HDMI cable is connected directly to the graphics card Intel Arc A770. The integrated graphic build into the CPU is no longer functional do to flimsy drivers update. Graphics driver version number 32.0.101.8626, Intel graphics software version 26.4.2155.3. I used the integrated graphics from the CPU for basic tasks, like web browsing, the the discreet graphics Arc A 770 for more complex tasks like video and photo editing.

I have been running the same setup above for close to two years now with no issues after every driver update. The most recent driver update broke a perfectly working PC.

I hope this driver issue will be resolved with the next driver update or hopefully sooner.

Hello cybertec69,

Thank you for posting on Intel Community Forum.

To address the issue properly, please share the information below.

1. Did you perform a clean installation using DDU prior to updating the driver?

2. Have you tried rolling back to the previous driver version - does it restore HDMI functionality?

3. What was the previous working driver version you had installed before?

4. Does the iGPU show any error codes or warning symbols in Device Manager?

5. Is iGPU still enabled in BIOS?

Additionally, to have a better understanding of your system configuration and components please generate a complete copy of the System Support Utility (SSU) report. Please follow instructions here and send the report - How to get the Intel® System Support Utility Logs on Windows*

I look forward to your response.

Best regards

Yes I did a clean install, always do. No I do not know the previous driver number, it's not something people do when updating drivers. No I did not roll back to the previous driver. No, I did not go into my bios to make changes, I and anyone else should not have to do this.
Look, your driver team, whatever is left of it, pushed out a hot mess, as you can see from the dorm posts, I am not the only one with this issue.
I have had no issues with previous driver installs for close to two years. Maybe you should read my initial post and stop responding with the typical corporate copy and paste nonsense.

Hi cybertec69,

Thank you for providing the information I requested. I perfectly understand where you are coming from, and I'm sorry that you experienced this issue. This information will help us further isolate the issue and work toward a resolution.

At this time, kindly generate a System Support Utility (SSU) report and share the logs with us so we can proceed with further investigation.

Look. I had no issues for close to two years until the most recent driver update that was pushed out by your driver team. Nothing changed on my end.  I always do a clean install and reboot the system after the drivers have been updated. In regards to one of the previous questions asking me what was the previous driver installed on my system, your team should know this, they are the ones that have been pushing them out on a regular basis every month.

The most recent driver broke the HDMI UHD connection to the motherboard, now I can only use the discreet GPU Intel Arc A770. The UHD integrated into the CPU no longer works. I am not the only one with this issue.

Hi cybertec69,

I acknowledge that the issue started after the latest driver update, and we’re willing to investigate this further. Please generate a System Support Utility (SSU) report, as it will be a crucial part of our investigation. This report will allow us to review your system components and configuration in detail.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Best regards

The issue is still there. There is no reason for an SSU. Your driver team screwed up. Plain and **bleep**ing simple.
As I stated in my initial post. Nothing has changed in my end, my pc has been the same for close to two years with no issues after your driver updates, which have been pushed out on a monthly basis.
The most recent software update via your softwares update utility broke the connection between the HDMI and the UHD graphics.
When I get a chance I will do an SSU. Until then there is no reason to close this thread, since the issue has not been resolved.

Updated to the most recent drivers, went into Bios and enabled iGPU, and the issue still persists. Can not use the UHD graphics. Windows boots up and then right before it goes into the windows mode the loop screen with the Asus logo freezes. I can only use the external GPU Intel Arc A770.
