Hey all
My B580 Fans always run in full RPM (over 3000 RPM) even the GPU Temperature is quite low (around 40 ℃). This situation occurs when the computer starts up and persists all the time. Even if I manually adjust the fan speed, it still doesn't work. This causes me a great deal of trouble in my daily use.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Hello,
Thank you very much for your reply.
- I bought the Intel B580 at 7th this month. Everything worked fine at first. But when I updated the graphics drivers from version 32.0.101.6559 (provided by OEM) to 32.0.101.6881, the problem didn't arise immediately. Just a few days after I installed the "Intel OneAPI Base Toolkit" and "Intel OneAPI HPC Toolkit" for development, that is, last Friday (Jun. 20th), the problem occurred. Intel B580 works great but FAN SPEED CONTROL.
- I have taken a variety of ways to try to solve the problem.
- I tried to adjust the fan speed curve in the Intel Graphics Software, but it didn’t work even I rebooted my PC.
- I tried to download other fan speed control softwares provided by other OEMs, but the problem still existed.
- I tried to downgrade the driver to version 32.0.101.6559, but it didn’t work.
- I tried to uninstall the "Intel OneAPI Base Toolkit”, "Intel OneAPI HPC Toolkit" and the graphics driver from my PC, then I reinstalled the driver (version 32.0.101.6559). But it didn’t work.
- I tried to clear the CMOS configurations on the motherboard after uninstallation, but it didn’t work.
- I tried to enter the safe mode of the Windows system, completely remove the driver using the latest version of DDU, then clear the CMOS configurations, and reinstall the driver (version 32.0.101.6559). But it didn’t work.
- I am using the B760 series motherboard, on which Resizable Bar is enabled by default. And I also check and confirm that it is enabled in BIOS settings and in Intel Graphics Software.
- Yes, but it does not solve the problem.
The log from SSU is attached below. Look forward to your reply at your convenience. Thank you!

Hi XXXXCode,
Thank you for the feedback. I checked your SSU log and saw that the current driver is 32.0.101.6559. To check this, please try updating the driver to 32.0.101.6881 and performing DDU along with the clean installation.
If you have any questions, please let us know. Thank you.
