Hello @mobitsmobitz

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.

We understand that you are trying to install "Intel® Graphics driver version 26.20.100.7323" and the system is running Windows* 11. Is this correct?

However, checking the Intel® SSU report, we noticed it is reporting that the Driver Version "26.20.100.7323" is already installed.

Could you please verify if the reported driver version is correct? You may also verify this from Device Manager following these steps:

  • Right-click the Windows Start button. Select Device Manager.
  • Expand the Display adapters section.
  • Identify the Intel Graphics device among the options listed.
  • Right-click the Intel® UHD Graphics 620 device and click on Properties.
  • Click on the Driver tab and look for "Driver Version".

Also, could you please elaborate more on the actual issue/behavior?

1- What do you exactly mean when you said "the driver won't download and install"? For instance:

  • Is it having issues initiating the installation process?
  • Or is it crashing in the middle of the installation process?
  • Does it look like it installs but after reboot the installer shows up again? etc?

Feel free to share some screenshots if it may help to understand better the scenario.

2- The said driver "26.20.100.7323" is not available on the Lenovo* website for Windows 10 and we also noticed it seems they don't offer Graphics drivers for Windows* 11. The only driver we can see they offer is Version 26.20.100.7985 for Windows 10 (64-bit).

In addition, the said driver "26.20.100.7323" is not available on our Download Center either.

Could you please confirm where you are downloading the graphics driver from? Also, please explain the "installation steps that you are following":

Notes:

a- The driver version 26.20.100.7323 is an old version and it seems to not be compatible with Windows 11 and considering the Lenovo website doesn't show a "Windows 11 graphics driver" available, we recommend checking with Lenovo* Support if they have an updated version of the driver (compatible with Windows 11) that is recommended for your system.

This is because Intel® only provides generic drivers and the driver or software for your Intel® component might have been changed or replaced by the computer manufacturer (OEM). The usual recommendation is to use the customized driver from the OEM (in this case, Acer) as the first option so you don’t lose features or customizations. OEM drivers are handpicked and include customized features and solutions to platform-specific issues.

b- If you are not able to find an updated driver from Lenovo* and still you want to update, you can try the latest generic Intel® Graphics DCH Driver version 31.0.101.2111 which is compatible with Windows 11. In case there is an issue installing this driver, you may select the option "Perform a Clean Installation" at the beginning of the installation wizard or manually follow the clean installation steps in this article.
