Intel DSA unable to update driver

I am running a NUC7i5BNH. Can't get the graphics driver to update to ver. 6471.

• DSA tells me I have 'A customized computer manufacturer driver is installed on your computer. The Intel Driver & Support Assistant is not able to update the driver.' (I have ver. 6025)
• downloaded 6471 as an exe file and told that this driver not compatible
• Note: I can update ver. 6025 to I think 61XX (forgot exactly) by going through device manager to update driver.
