Whenever I try to load computer games, my laptop freezes and the error "Display driver not responding and has recovered" appears. So far I have updated my graphics card driver, then uninstalled and reinstalled it. I have also run numerous virus-scans and system maintenance scans, all of which have been coming up clear. This issue has been happening for a few months, but recently it has become so bad that my laptop is almost un-useable, and I have been forced to look into buying a new laptop. I have a Fujitsu Lifebook with an Intel Core i3-3110 CPU @ 2.40 GHz, with a 64-bit operating system, Windows 8.1, and 8GB of RAM.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Please try the latest driver for Intel® HD Graphics 4000; you can download it from the following URL:

Hi,
As I said in my original post I have tried this, I tried it again today and there has been no change. Issue seems to be getting worse, I have tried all solutions involving updating/reinstalling the latest driver.
Thanks

In this case, since this is an OEM system what we can offer for you is the graphic driver update or Windows updates, other than that; you could reinstall the operating system.
Also, you could follow some troubleshooting steps at this Microsoft website:

Thank you for your EXTREMELY helpful advice on the support forum for Intel products. Although this is an OEM system, I have only ever had issues with the Intel Graphics card and Intel processor. I look forward to finding a laptop with a different, functioning graphics card and never purchasing an Intel graphics again.
Thanks for the great customer service...
