Intel HD 4600 - graphic bug

Hello world,

When I use integrated HD Graphics 4600 to play Microsoft Train Simulator (old game in english from 2001 patched 1.4), it gets some texture problems like this.

Is there a way to launch this game without graphic bug ?

Configuration : Windwos 7 64 bit

intel i7-4770k with last graphic driver 10.18.10.3345

The BIOS of my motherboard (ASUS Z87-PLUS C2) is update with last version.

I see this game is compatible for old operating system versions and some other requirements that are met with your new system however, the problem might be related due to compatibility with your operating system version \

However, this post seems indicate that it is possible to run this game under Windows 7.

For the moment, i have no graphic card in my system.

So, the only choice is to wait for a release of Intel graphic driver (january 2014 ?) or to buy a graphic card.

I have the same problem running the old MS Train Simulator on a new laptop.

Indeed. Following the steam4me intructions, MSTS usually works fine on Windows 7 and 8 (without Intel Graphic)

MSI CR70-2M-P345W7

Intel Pentium CPU 3550M 2,3GHz

4 GB

Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit SP1 all at Christmas from MS available Updates are installed.

Intel Hardware Test says:

I understand letters appear in Microsoft Train Simulator when you try to play it.

I recommend making sure you have the latest patches installed for that game.

You can also try using previous version of the graphics driver. You can uninstall the current version from Programs and Features in Control Panel and then reinstalling the driver from this link
