Currently trying to run a game with OpenGl with no luck, apparently it uses 3.0 or 3.3 but the laptop screen just freezes.
According to my graphics card it states OpenGl - 4.4
But i'm not sure if this means it supports lower versions.. any ideas?
i5-6200U Processor
Intel HD Graphics 520
Also, driver is upto date - 21.x.x
Thanks guys.

Your GPU supports lower OpenGL versions.
Tell the name of the game, so s.o. can look for known application issues.

Hello:
Thank you very much to Stefan3D for the information posted above.
To Dashby:
The Intel® HD Graphics 520 controller supports OpenGL 4.4, as you can confirm on the following link, please look where it says 6th generation processors:
http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005524.html http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005524.html
I just wanted to let you know that we recommend to use the graphics drivers provided by the manufacturer, the drivers provided by Intel are generic, which means that they might or might not work with your system.
For this graphics controller we can try the following drivers:
Driver Beta 4552:
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26464/Intel-Graphics-Beta-Driver-15-45-?product=88355 https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26464/Intel-Graphics-Beta-Driver-15-45-?product=88355
Or if the above driver does not work, this is version 4542:
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26404/Intel-Graphics-Driver-15-45-?product=88355 https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26404/Intel-Graphics-Driver-15-45-?product=88355
If the drivers above do not work, then the best thing to do will be to get in contact directly with the manufacturer of the laptop in order to get the proper graphics driver or to get further technical or warranty assistance.
I looked for the best game settings for this processor, but the OSBuddy game is not listed:

Any further questions, please let me know.
Regards
Alberto
