We (what seems randomly) get DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED on different Intel HD cards. It seems to be mostly when loading resources but the Present can also crash with that error.
I previous thread suggested Flushing the DeviceContext but even if I run that after every resource interaction it doesn't help.
I've tried the latest 15.40 driver as well as legacy drivers. Currently I'm testing on a Surface pro 3 with Intel HD 5000 and an HP with HD 540. No users with other than Intel HD cards have reported this issue.

Hi Stefan,
Is this the same issue from the thread you commented on?
https://software.intel.com/en-us/forums/graphics-driver-bug-reporting/topic/673446
Are you using the latest driver from Intel.com? Keep in mind that some OEMs take the Intel driver and modify it for their systems. So the driver from Intel.com will not install on those system, and if they haven't released a new driver with that fix included yet that could explain why you are still seeing it.

I've tried forcing the latest Intel driver on a Surface pro 3. Seems to install correct but the problem persist.

OK, I will look into it. The fix should be in the latest driver.
