Hello Martin-Fasken,

May I know what connector type are you using? Is it HDMI, VGA, DVI, DP? Are you using single mode, Dual display or Extended mode?

Can you also please post your dxdiag report here?

Hi Kevin,

Just to give you more information about my question. We have some Lenovo M81 7518-E1F with an Intel HD Graphics 2000 on them. Some of our users are using the 1600x900 and the 1280x720 resolution on their monitor.

Recently, we received some Lenovo M82 3306-G2F with an Intel HD Graphics 2500 on them, for replacement. So, with the same monitor and the same VGA cable, we were surprised to realized that the Intel HD Graphics 2500 doesn't have those resolution. So that's why I'm asking you this question : why ? To answer your question, we use, for almost our monitors, the VGA cable with single mode. For my computer, I use dual display mode with a VGA cable and a display port cable. We are using 22 and 23 inch Dell monitors.

Of course we were able to manually enter those resolutions on the "graphics properties", but for the 1280x720, for example, we realized that the screen is not showing a full screen mode (there is two black lines on each side of the screen). And with the Intel HD Graphics 2000, it does.

So, do you have some answers for me ?

Here is the dxdiag report :
