Intel HD Graphics 4000 brightness issue

Since I upgraded my Acer Aspire P3-171 with Intel HD Graphics 4000 from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 I have an error with the brightness control function/brightness is on max/.The only way to fix that issue /to get back the brightness control / was to downgrade the Intel Video Driver to version VGA_Intel_9.17.10.2932_W8x64_A. That has worked before when I upgraded my PC with the latest version on Windows 1709. Now is not working again /I mean the brightness is only on max again / and if I try to downgrade the Intel Video Driver to the oldest version it gives me a error code 43 and this time I can't get back the brightness control.

I'd like to know if there is any effort from Intel to fix that issue.

Hello DKURDOV,

Thank you for joining the Graphics Community. I am sorry to hear you are having issues with this matter.

I was unable to find the driver version you are referring in our download page, https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/81499/Intel-HD-Graphics-4000 Downloads for Intel® HD Graphics 4000. This indicates that this specific driver could be from your computer manufacturer or Windows Updates. From my end, you could try the following version: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26813/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-15-33-?product=81499 Download Intel® Graphics Driver for Windows* [15.33] which is the latest for the Intel® HD Graphics 4000 graphics controller. Use this method for the installation: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005629/graphics-drivers.html Manually Install an Intel® Graphics Driver in Windows® 10 and...
