Intel HD Graphics Family update question

I have a laptop from TOSHIBA, a Satellite P745 to be exact. It came with an Intel HD Graphics Family card and I was wondering whether I could update it with one of the newer driver updates on this website's download page.

If so, should I uninstall the display adapter first then double-click the .exe file for the update or just let it run?

There is no need to uninstall the current graphics drivers, see the following URL and download the latest version for your graphics controller Intel HD Graphics 3000
