Intel HD Graphics drivers not installing Media SDK files

I've been trying to figure out how to enable hardware acceleration in 2 PC's: one with a GL40 chipset and the other with a Q45 chipset both with Windows 7. I noticed from documentation and forum posts implying that a set of Intel related registry keys and files should be present in the PC but they are not. I noticed there's a Media SDK folder in the Intel HD Graphics driver installer folder and they're not being installed.

I have Windows 7 and the latest Media Foundation hotfixes installed.

Is there something required that I need to allow these files to be installed????
