Intel HD Graphics problem with 2 Monitors

I have a H55/Clarkdale 661 system and I have connected one monitor to the HDMI (primary device) and another one to the normal VGA output (secondary device). I have set the system to "extended desktop". The problem is, that the secondary device does not start automatically, only the primary device starts normal. What can I do against this problem?

You should make sure that your monitor drivers are installed, you can request them to your monitor manufacturer.

To check this, go to "Device Manager" and click on "Monitors". If it states "Plug and Play Monitor", then the drivers are not installed.

Also, you can try testing different cable for your second monitor as it may not be detecting the monitor during boot.

PV.
