Intel HD5500 laptop: Windows 10 connects to TV, linux doesn't. What's the modeline ?

I am able to connect laptop to TV at 4096x2160 in Windows 10, but in Linux/Ubuntu the image flickers.

Is there a way to get the modeline (with frequencies) used in Windows to use it in linux (in xorg.conf or xrandr directly) ?

Btw why can't the linux driver figure out the modeline automatically -- the one it does get automatically doesnt work ?

It is also important to mention that we as Intel provides the hardware to the computer manufacturers and they will design and create their systems with their specifications meaning that they can also set limitations such as the supported operating system.
