Intel HD620 notebook monitor driver

Hi there

Recently I have purchased a Lenovo 310-15IKB notebook with Intel HD620 graphic card. Even I have intalled the latest graphic card driver (23.20.16.4849), the monitor driver can not be installed, Generic PnP display is shown. VGA driver has been reinstalled a few times, no luck. There is a same situation (generic pnp display) if I connect an external monitor via HDMI cable.

Please help me to solve this problem.

Thank you in advance

Hello, samsanya.

Thank you very much for contacting the Intel® Communities Team.

I would like to know where did you download the Intel® HD Graphics drivers? From the https://downloadcenter.intel.com/ Intel® Download Center or from https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/lenovo-v-series-laptops/v310-15ikb/downloads?linkTrack=Caps:Body_SearchProduct&searchType=3&keyWordSearch=V310-15IKB%2520Laptop%2520%2528Lenovo%2529 Lenovo™?

Additionally, can you please update the BIOS of your system? Please find the download link below:

Hello Anthony

Thank you for your feedback.

First time the driver has been installed by the operating system (W10), then I have installed the driver through iobit driver booster, then at the end I have downloaded the driver from both of above locations without luck...

The BIOS version is 3JCN29WW.

Please find below system summary report by intel app:

Hello, samsanya.

Thank you very much for your reply and the information provided.

I would like to get an Intel® HD Graphics Report when there is not an external monitor connected and one when it is connected if you do not mind. Please follow this guide to generate this report: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005848/graphics-drivers.html https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005848/graphics-drivers.html

To attach a file, you must click the "Attach" option on the bottom right-hand corner of the response box.

Additionally, is there another monitor you can try besides the one you were testing with? Just to verify if you the issue is the same with another display.

Hi Anthony

Sorry for the late replay, but I was on abroad with limited acces to my email (without notebook).

Anyway, I was not able to update BIOS on my notebook, as the version you have provided is

for V310, but I have 310. I am not sure they are compatibles or not.

And the situation is still the same: generis driver for the display...

It seems I have to send the notebook to service.

Awaiting for your replay.

Sandor
