Intel(R) HD Graphics not upgrading in Windows 8.1

I've a

Sony Vaio E Series VPCEB32EN

Intel Core i3-370M Processor 2.40GHz, x64 based processor

Shipped with Windows 7 Home Basic(64-bit)

Hard Disk Drive 500 GB / Memory 2 GB

So, my laptop was shipped with Windows 7 Home Basic (64-bit) but later, I installed Windows 8 Enterprise(32-bit) and subsequently, Windows 8.1 Enterprise(32-bit). And obviously, I lost all the drivers that Sony had installed. Now, my WebCam doesn't work, but that's part of my problem. What I'm interested is that I wanted to upgrade my Intel(R) HD Graphics* driver, so went to https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=23763&lang=eng&ProdId=3319 Intel® Download Center and downloaded win32_152822.exe, Version 15.28.22.3517 (Latest). But when I executed it, it showed that

"Computer does not meet the minimum requirement",

when actually, my PC does. So, how can I upgrade my driver?

Hello Amit.Joki

It is important to say that OEM drivers include special features that will work specifically for your computer. This is why installing the driver from the Computer Manufacture is very important.

You can try installing our generic driver but it does not include the special features from the OEM design.

At this point, the latest drivers we have for HD Graphics (first Generation) are for Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7. I regret to say there are no drivers available for Windows 8 or 8.1 for the controller in your computer.

My recommendation is to go back to Windows 7 so you can download our driver. Here is it:

If you have problems during the installation, try these steps:
