Intel(R) Rapid Storage Technology External Harddisk

Hi I have a laptop and a single external esata 4tb Hard Drive (2 x 2TB) in a single case but only 2 TB is ever recognised in JBOD or SINGLE. The raid(0) or 1 is not working corretly either I get very slow computer response. Any reasons why i have the issue seems to be esata only as USB works perfect.

This hardrive works fine on my PC using ESATA port in all modes.

I have the following driver version Intel(R) Rapid Storage Technology 9.6.0.1014

OS windows 7 (64 bit)
