Hello Laurent1

In regards to your inquiry, Intel® UHD Graphics 630 is available on 8/9/10th Generation Processors and as per the Datasheets for 8/9th and 10th Gen Processors, the Display Engine supports DisplayPort™ (DP) 1.2.

The graphics driver and graphics processing unit (GPU) can display 4K 4096x2304@60Hz resolution over DP 1.2, and when bandwidth and system configuration allow it, the GPU will display any resolution equal to or lower than the Max Resolution supported by the processor that is also supported by the monitor, for instance, UHD, QHD, 2K, FHD, etc,".

As per the article How to use Bandwidth to Determine the Best Video Output, the Max. Effective Bandwidth for DP 1.2 is 17.28 Gbps.

Using a third-party bandwidth calculator*, for 2560x1440 (1440p) at 165Hz and 8bpp the Total Signal Bandwidth required is 18.25Gbps. Because of the Max. Effective Bandwidth for DP 1.2 is 17.28 Gbps, it seems that 1440p at 165Hz may not be possible as it would be theoretically out of bandwidth (but this could change depending on the computer manufacturer (OEM) customizations); therefore, you may also review with your OEM for the resolutions/refresh rates supported on your system over DP 1.2 and for additional technical specifications.

If you have any other inquiries, please don't hesitate to contact us back.
