When switching off a connected HDMI display the graphics & audio driver crashes. When re-connecting the HDMI display, the graphics driver recovers, but the HDMI audio driver is disabled until the PC is restarted. This was not the case with the previous BIOS version
Alternative Scenario: When starting the PC without the HDMI display ON and connected, the HDMI driver does not startup properly and HDMI audio does not work.
Steps to reproduce:
- Switch off PC
- connect HDMI display with HDMI sound support to on-board graphic
- Switch HDMI display ON FIRST
- Switch PC ON SECOND
- status: all works fine, display & HDMI sound
- switch off HDMI display
- switch on HDMI display
- Display works, sound driver has crashed. HDMI sound device disappears from the all sound device selection menus. Device manager shows that the display driver stopped (see screenshot).
- Restart PC with HDMI ON and connected.
