Intel UHD resolution switch issue

My problem is that when I switch from 4K resolution to FullHD, the graphics card actually just rescales the Windows interface, it doesn't change the resolution:

The solution is in the Intel graphics control center, using the maintain display scaling setting:

The only problem is that the application does not remember this setting, every time I switch to FullHD resolution, the setting automatically switches to maintain aspect ratio and I have to manually change it to maintain display scaling. This is not a viable option. Isn't there some workaround to remember this setting, say by a registry database modification or something?

This is my hardware configuration:

Thanks in advance if you manage to find a solution to this problem. Best regards, Ferenc Stohl.

Hello stohlferenc,

I apologize for the delay in getting back to you. To help resolve your issue, could you please provide the following details?

  1. What model of your unit are you using, and which driver version is installed?
  2. What operating system version do you have, and have there been any recent updates?
  3. Are you using multiple monitors? If so, how are they set up (primary and secondary)?
  4. What version of the Intel Graphics Control Center do you have, and have you tried reinstalling or updating it?

Additionally, please run the SSU tool and share the logs with me. This information will help me diagnose the problem better.

Thank you, and I look forward to your response!
