Good day to Intel, as you can see from this screen below:

4K Gaming depend on CPU. So can anybody tell me what Intel processors can support 4K Gaming?

Let me help you with your question.

First, I would like to clarify that there is a difference between supporting 4K resolutions and 4K gaming; Intel supports 4K resolutions with the 4th generation Intel® Core processors depending on the processor model and port used as indicated below:

  • DisplayPort* 1.2 / eDP*

    H-Processors: 3840 x 2160 @60Hz (Ultra-HD)

    U-Processors: 3200 x 2000 @60 Hz, 3840x2160@30Hz

    Y-Processors: 2560 x 1600 @ 60 Hz
  • HDMI* 4096 x 2304, 3840x2160 @ 24Hz / 24bpp
  • DVI 1920 x 1200 @ 60Hz

The fact that we support 4K resolutions does not mean that the games will run at such resolutions.

We provide a list of games that were tested with Intel® Core processors using default settings; such settings do not include 4K resolutions.
