Hi my specs are follows
Intel i5 6600K 530
Gigabyte http://www.gigabyte.com.au/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5496 GA-Z170XP-SLI (rev. 1.0)
Samsung 840Pro 256GB
16 GB Kingston Crucial Ram
Lastest graphics drivers installed as of today
The issue I have is that the screen flickers and then goes blank for 2 secs and then comes back. What I notice once I go to Graphics properties that the refresh rate which was set at 60Hz has now changed to 59Hz for some reason. I only have 1 screen atttached via DVI cable.
I also have another issue which happens to be a sleep issue, where the PC refuses to return from sleep.

Hi Mrsash,
Please try with this method, installing the driver manually.
How to manually install an Intel® Graphics Driver
http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005629.html http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005629.html
Intel® Beta Graphics Driver
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26099/Intel-Beta-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-10-and-Windows-7-8-1-15-40-?product=88345 https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26099/Intel-Beta-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-10-and-Windows-7-8-1-15-40-?product=88345
If it doesn't help you, could you please change the refresh rate from 60Hz to 30Hz.
Please let me know if the flicker is still there.
Regards,
Hellen.

Hi Mrsash,
Please let me know the outcome.
Also, I was checking the EDID you attached before; according to this report, the max resolution supported by your Monitor is 1024x768 @ 60Hz. I recommend you to set this resolution; to corroborate this I'll need the model of the monitor to verify the specs.
Regards,
Hellen.

Currently I have rhe resolution 1920x1080 at 60hz
The Samsung SyncMaster 2233SW's 16:9 aspect ratio supports a "Full HD"
1,920x1,080-pixel native resolution. This continues the trend of more
and more monitor vendors http://ces.cnet.com/8301-19167_1-10140889-100.html moving
toward 16:9 from 16:10 because high-definition content--in particular
1080p movies--can fit onto a 1,920x1,080-pixel screen in full-screen
mode without stretching the image.
Manufacturer's specifications:
Resolution: 1,920x1,080 pixels
Pixel-response rate: 5ms
Contrast ratio: 1,000:1
Brightness: 300cd/m2
Connectivity: VGA, DVI
HDCP compliant? Yes
Included video cables? VGA, DVI
Backlight: CCFL
Panel Type: TN

Hi Mrsash,
I was rereading the thread and I could notice that you are using DDR4 memories at 1600MHz. according to your processor Intel® Core™ i5-6600K Processor DDR4-1866/2133: http://ark.intel.com/products/88191/Intel-Core-i5-6600K-Processor-6M-Cache-up-to-3_90-GHz http://ark.intel.com/products/88191/Intel-Core-i5-6600K-Processor-6M-Cache-up-to-3_90-GHz
Also the speed your memory specs
http://www.corsair.com/en/vengeance-lpx-16gb-2x8gb-ddr4-dram-3200mhz-c16-memory-kit-black-cmk16gx4m2b3200c16 http://www.corsair.com/en/vengeance-lpx-16gb-2x8gb-ddr4-dram-3200mhz-c16-memory-kit-black-cmk16gx4m2b3200c16
I suggest you to set this speed for your RAM 2133MHz, Please let me know if this helps you.
Regards,
Hellen.

Not sure where you got the 1600 from, but I have set it to XMP profile which is 3200 if I am not mistaken.
If I leave it at 59hz it still has the issue.
Although I am not sure what this has to do with the graphics.....?

Can you test it with another monitor or a full HD tv ? It can be a compatibility problem. On the mainboard there is a controller also for the monitors, and some impedance adaptors, and it maybe possible they are not compatible or something is broken on mainboard.

Hi Mrsash,
I got it from the pictures you sent before, on the CPU-Z.
Please keep in mind that your processor supports DDR4 at this speed 1866/2133MHz, increasing RAM speed overhead the processor and the graphics controller can be affected.
Regards,
Hellen.

Hi
Sorry Hellen. I dont have access to another monitor unless I buy another. This monitor has had no issues previously. I can try if you want to sponser it.
Some observations
C states active in both tests
DDR4 2133Mhz. The change from 60 to 59 Hz does not happen while I am using the PC. Switching it back to 60Hz does not result in a screen going blank and coming back asking if I would like to keep this settings. Doesnt look like a change in setting does anything.
C states invoke but I am not able to wake the computer from sleep.
DDR4 Profile1 ie 3200Mhz. There is a flicker for a second and screen goes blank and comes back. Checking the setting shows 59hz and keeps doing this blank screen regardless of the fact I leave it alone or set it back to 60hz again.
C states dont seem to work at all. Doesnt go to sleep

Hi Mrsash ,
I noticed that my PCH +1.0V is 1.2V with XMP and I set it manually on 1.0V (on SPD is 1.0V) and the monitor is going randomly black for few seconds. I set the PCH +1.0V to 1.110 manually in bios and the monitor is not going black anymore.
Let's do a a test. Go in bios find PCH +1.0 and set it manually to 1.110V and check if you have the same problem.

Hi Mrsash,
According to this information you gave to me, looks like your processor is working properly: "DDR4 2133Mhz. The change from 60 to 59 Hz does not happen while I am using the PC. Switching it back to 60Hz does not result in a screen going blank and coming back asking if I would like to keep this settings. Doesnt look like a change in setting does anything.
C states invoke but I am not able to wake the computer from sleep."
In case you consider necessary let me know in order to proceed to collect the information for the replacement

Hellen.

Sorry I havent tested what Ronin has suggested. I am not very confident in changing things. I dont usually overclock. Also very busy with few things
Hellen logically thinking I think the issue is either the processor or graphics drivers. In any case I would like to get this resolved as I am not putting up with it since I have paid for it.
If by replacement you mean another processor then can you explain how this process works?
thanks
