Hi,
Thanks for the info. The reason I ask is because;
I am connecting an external Blu ray player to my desk top (inspiron 3250), via USB connection;
Monitor has; VGA, DVI-D, and DP connections. PC has , VGA, HDMI, only.
I have have tried to use a HDMI (pc) to DP (monitor) cable; however the monitor does not recognise the DP connect. Is this a cable connect issue or something else?
Now I'm sure if the Intel HD 530 graphics is HDCP compliant, thanks to your info.
I believe the monitor P2014H is also HDCP compliant.
My media player will start to play the BR, and then I get the HDCP warning. It think it can only be coming through the VGA, (when it is disconnected Monitor display disappears).
Any Ideas?
