Secondly,I saw that we need enable Resize Bar or Smart Access Memory to use card’s maximum performance , so,Does my laptop need to turn on that function?

Hello Komorex,

Thank you for posting on the Intel®️ Arc communities.

To ensure the device is compatible with the enclosures you have we recommend contacting the manufacturer of the enclosures to confirm compatibility.

Resizable BAR (Base Address Register) is a PCIe capability. This is a mechanism that allows the PCIe device, such as a discrete graphics card, to negotiate the BAR size to optimize system resources. Enabling this functionality can result in performance improvement.

Every manufacturer has its own set of options, in order to confirm the procedure to enable the Resizable BAR in your device we recommend contacting the laptop manufacturer.

We also recommend checking the following articles, they contain valuable information about the Resizable BAR.
