Ok so hi, i Have a intel iris xe and with a recent update, it lags, like a LOT, example, i play minecraft for 15/20 minutes normally but then for like a minute it just goes to 2/10 fps range, it happens in every game i play (even undertale or gm). It happened to me for like 2 months once and a year later it came back. What should i do?

Hello Daniel,
Greetings from Intel Customer Support!
Thank you for reaching out regarding the performance issues you're experiencing with your Intel Iris Xe graphics. I understand how frustrating intermittent lag can be, especially when it affects all your games after working normally for a period of time.
To help us diagnose and resolve this issue effectively, could you please provide the following information:
System Information:
- Please run the Intel System Support Utility (SSU) and attach the report for system diagnostics:
- Download link: Intel SSU Tool
- After downloading, open the tool, run a scan (leave default options), click Next, then save the results as a .txt file, and attach it in your reply.
- Please note: While generating the SSU report, kindly uncheck the “Networking” option.
2.You mentioned a "recent update" - was this a Windows update, driver update, or game update?
3.Have you installed any new software or hardware recently?
4.When exactly did you first notice this issue returning?
5.Does the lag occur at specific times (after 15-20 minutes as mentioned) or randomly?
6.Are you running any background applications while gaming?
7.Does the issue occur immediately after a system restart, or only after extended use?
8.Have you tried updating or rolling back your graphics drivers?
9.Can you please provide video of the issue?
10.an you please provide your game setting?
11.Which gaming platform did you use to download the game?
This information will help us identify whether this is a driver issue, thermal throttling, system resource conflict, or another underlying cause.
Your responses will help us assess the situation and determine the most appropriate next steps.
Thank you and keep safe!
Best regards,
Jennifer B.
