Hello,
as already described here:
the above mentioned functionality is unable to represent a setup where 2 monitors are in portrait mode, however only one of them is flipped.
this is required with most physical bezels. It is quite frustrating that the Graphics Command Center ( version 1.100.5688.0 ) does not include a functionality to rotate the image of the flipped monitor upon combining, so that actually one desktop would be created.
this would be needed to be able to use Windows 11 (Enterprise, 23H2, 22631.6345) "snap windows" functionality as intended.
The graphics card is an UHD 630.
I would love to hereby request this feature.

My company has allowed me to install Power Toys, so for me the issue is resolved; generally I still believe this would be a feature worth considering.

Alright, let’s keep it real.. the limitation you’re hitting with “Combine Desktop” on Intel UHD Graphics 630 is a known design constraint. RN when displays are combined the rotation options get locked because the driver treats the group as one single surface. So yeah, mixing 2 portrait monitors with one flipped? Not supported in that mode. Annoying? Absolutely. Especially when you’re just trying to line up bezels properly and make Windows 11 Snap layouts behave the way they’re supposed to. Now here’s the practical fix instead of using Combine Desktop, switch to Extended Display mode in Windows. Set each monitor’s rotation individually (including flipping the one that needs it), then use tools like DisplayFusion or Windows PowerToys FancyZones to recreate a “combined” workspace feel. It won’t be driver-level merged as one canvas, but functionally? You’ll get proper snapping, independent rotation, and way more flexibility. If you must have hardware-level spanning, that’s typically something higher-end GPUs handle better, UHD 630 just wasn’t built with that advanced multi-orientation spanning logic in mind.

Yeah... unless this is a work machine and the company does not allow any of the mentioned tools. I never said it's not expected functionality, I just said it could be easily fixed with an added feature.

From a usability standpoint, being able to rotate an individual panel before or during the combine process absolutely makes sense. At the moment dude the UHD 630 driver and Graphics Command Center do not provide per-display rotation control once displays are combined. Rotation must be configured prior to combining, and even then, mixed-orientation portrait setups (with one flipped) are not fully supported under the current implementation... if this is not restricted by company policy, some users work around this by:
Avoiding Combine Desktop and instead using extended mode with third-party window management tools
Or using hardware-based display wall controllers (depending on the setup)
hmm,, Are all displays identical make and model? Are you connecting directly to the UHD 630 outputs, or through docking hardware/adapters?
