I have an Intel DH87RL motherboard with a Haswell CPU and Win8, and I have the issue with the HDMI audio device disapperaing aftaer standby or turning off the AC reciever...
I have followed the instructions here /message/218663# 218663 https://communities.intel.com/message/218663# 218663 with no Lock - I have the newest BIOS from 12/04 and also the newest drivers - 3345.
I don't have the issue with the previous driver, but then I have other issues.
So as stated in the thread above I'd like to ask my mobo manufacturer if a new BIOS is on the way?

Hi MikaelKorsgaard,
I am sorry to hear you are having problems but let me help you.
The issue should be resolved by updating the driver. As you say, it seems that at this point there is no new bios version posted but it should be there soon since this is a known issue from our side and we already know what the solution is.
I recommend you checking the website because I am pretty sure soon will be available.

Any news... just upgraded to the firmware from January and thhe driver from 28th of Febuary ... and still the same issue... Getting a bit annoying, do I really need to put in a non-Intel Graphics Card to get normal operation???

Hello All,
I first want to thank you for your patience on this.
For those who have the Intel® motherboards, we have received feedback from other customers reporting that the issue has been fixed by installing the latest BIOS for the DZ87KLT-75K, DH87RL and DQ87PG along with the latest graphics driver.
I would like you to check for these drivers and BIOS updates and install them on your computers and provide feedback.
We also have released a BETA graphics driver that we would like you to test and provide feedback about it. Here is the download link:
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=23858 https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=23858
