Meta Quest 3 with Intel GPU (Airlink)

Hello! I recently purchased a Meta Quest 3S and I personally use an Intel Arc b580 as my graphics card. I love it however recently when I decided to try PCVR I noticed I am not able to connect natively with my Meta Quest 3s using the Meta Horizon app. The only workarounds are ALVR or if I used Virtual Desktop (An app). My question is when can we expect support for PCVR with Intel GPU's?

Not sure if this is the right question to ask here at Intel, but I saw this on the PC requirements site for Meta: "Intel Arc GPUs are currently not supported by Meta Horizon Link. However, we are working to add support for these GPUs in future updates."

I understand your interest in using PCVR with your Intel Arc GPU. Currently, VR is not supported on Intel® Arc™ A-Series and B-Series GPUs (Is Virtual Reality (VR) supported on Intel® Arc™ A-Series and B-Series Graphics?). This explains why you're experiencing compatibility issues with the Meta Horizon app and need to rely on workarounds like ALVR or Virtual Desktop.

As you mentioned, Meta has acknowledged that Intel Arc GPUs are not currently supported by Meta Horizon Link, though they are working to add support in future updates. However, since VR support is not available on Intel Arc graphics at this time, we cannot provide a timeline for when this functionality might become available.
