Minecraft flickering and glitching. Please help!

Hello! I just got a new laptop, an HP 15 TouchSmart, 4th gen Intel Core i3-4005u Processor, which has windows 8.1. However, Minecraft seems to flicker and glitch out on me when I try to play it. Every other game I have tried so far works. I've heard many other people had the same issue too, but I can't seem to find a fix for it. Any help with this is greatly appreciated! I want to be able to start up my Minecraft servers again. XD

Small edit: I can make a video of this too, if needed.
