Missing device id in latest 2 generic gpu driver.

The latest 2 generic graphic driver (2134,2135) from support page, are all missing the device id of the gpu comes with i5-10200h (PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9BA4).

It looks like intel sometimes add it to the inf, sometimes don't, which is very inconsistent.

Pls add it to the current or next release of the driver, so we can update to it without modifying the inf!

Thanks.

Hello EBK21_2,

Upon reviewing versions 2135, 2134, 2130, and 2128, I found that only version 2130 includes PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9BA4. I will inquire about this internally and provide you with an update as soon as possible.

Hello EBK21_2

Thank you for posting in the community. I would like to clarify a few things. Firstly, could you let me know where you discovered that the device ID (PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9BA4) is missing? Additionally, could you provide the exact model of your laptop? Have you tried reverting to the driver provided by your laptop's manufacturer?

Please note that you are using an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) laptop, so it's best to use the manufacturer's driver, as it is the most compatible for your system. The graphics drivers available on Intel's website are generic and lack the customizations or changes made by your OEM.

Furthermore, have you attempted a clean installation using this method? It involves disconnecting your system from the internet, manually uninstalling the driver in Device Manager, and then installing the new driver without reconnecting to the internet.

The device id is displayed in my device manager(see screenshot). I checked the inf file(iigd_dch.inf) of the latest driver and it's clearly missing from it.

I'm using a self-built(part interchangeble) laptop, which do not strictly have a OEM driver, only old compatible driver from so-called driver booster, which is no longer working nicely with latest win10. That's why I stick to intel generic drivers.

I can actually manually install the latest driver with device manger, I have to choose a compatible model from it,as the full match device id is not there.

my cpu is i5-10200h.

from intel ARK https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/sku/208016/intel-core-i510200h-processor-8m-cache-up-to-4-10-ghz/specifications.html

the gpu id is 0x9BA4, and it said Intel® UHD Graphics for 10th Gen Intel® Processors.

However the inf does not include the gpu id despite the driver says it support 7-10 gen cpu.

It seems haven't been any updates from you. Anyway, I hope this will get addressed in the next driver release.

I'll just go "accept as solution". Feel free to notify me if there are any progress.
