Modos gráficos 16:9 en Ubuntu 16:10 para Xeon E3-1200

Tengo un monitor 16:09 y acabo de instalar Ubuntu 16:04, pero solo me ofrece dos modos de pantalla 800x600 y 1024x768, y yo quisiera 1600x900 o 1920x1080.

Hay alguna solución 'oficial' y/o sencilla?
